CME Credits

A CME certificate will be emailed to registered participants after they submit the post-exam surveyThe post-exam survey is sent out after exam results are available.

Certified Credits:

A) Writing the CCFP (EM) Exam

Practice eligible participants who complete and reflect on the CCFP (EM) exam are eligible for up to 50 Mainpro+ Certified credits.

Use the Filters on the Mainpro search feature for Activity Type: EM of ABEM Exam.




B) Linking to Learning

In addition to the above, all practice eligible participants can receive further certified Mainpro+ credits by completing a Linking to Learning form for any/all of the sessions you felt impacted your practice (this includes lectures, oral exam participation, and SAMPs). You will receive 5 certified Mainpro+ credits per form completed, with no limit per cycle.

Non-certified Credits:

Since so many certified credits are available for writing and preparing for the CCFP (EM) exam, the College does not allow exam preparation courses to gain certified status.

However, you can claim 1 non-certified credit per hour of course involvement (up to 63 credits) for all lectures watched live or reviewed later.

On the Mainpro “Search for CPD Activites” page, use the Filters: Credit Category: “Non-certified” and Activity Type: “Reading, watching, or listening”
